About Us

 

In the beginning...

Have you ever felt like God is calling you to do something? We have, and our first response was... He couldn’t possibly be talking to us because we're just simple ordinary people. We haven't gone to seminary school or had any training as preachers, we're just regular people with a love for God and Jesus Christ. So we prayed on it for weeks, talked with friends about it, we had been reminded again and again that God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies those He calls !

When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus. - Acts 4:13

After many months of self doubt we finally decided to listen, not knowing what we we're going to do, but saying "yes Lord" to whatever He wanted. The first thought was a simple Bible study group, but this just didn't seem "right". Jesus was (and still is) taking us on a path and He is showing us little by little, while strengthening our faith in the process. We're excited to be following God's plan for us, and out of this “let’s make JESUS famous” was started, as a part of our calling.

It's our way of helping people win in life, for those who are having a hard time, we've been there and our experiences may help. There's some who are trying to understand faith, when loved ones get sick and they are grieving. Others who want to know Jesus better and strengthen their faith, we've been through this too and we offer guidance. Still others who don't know Jesus at all, perhaps turned off by bible thumping Christians, we're here for you too.

Our teaching style is fun and simple, a straight forward approach that's built on honesty, kindness, compassion and love. We aren't "religiously righteous" people, we're sinners that are spiritually real, and rather than preach, we teach.

The goal is to walk with you and guide you along this journey in a respectful, supportive, and comfortable way, while helping you gain the courage to live a daily life with Jesus.

Much like the 12 disciples, we are all people called to live and share life with each other, but more than that, it's to find hope and love in Jesus. 

Our personal journey has been like a lost sheep, it's been long with twists, turns and dead ends. But because of our reconnection with Jesus, learning to rely on His strength and guidance, that we are here for you today, because through Him we are more than enough!

 

Our beliefs are in the Word of God, that He sent His only son Jesus to save us from our sins through His death on the cross, His bodily resurrection, and ascension to heaven. We’ve admitted our sins, received forgiveness, and we profess our faith by being baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. 

But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.  - Romans 8:25

  • Our hope is set on Jesus’ love for us, and the salvation that comes from Him alone, the gift of Grace that cannot be earned.
  • Our hope is that through this journey we will be able to help others, to encourage, and to teach them from our experiences. 
  • Our hope is to inspire followers of Jesus to share their faith. The world needs Jesus and it’s up to all of us to help make JESUS famous, just one person at a time.
  • Our hope is that every person in the world hears the gospel message and makes the choice to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?  - Romans 10:14

Our mission is to create a positive impact in a hurting world. Humbly caring for and helping others, walking with them and sharing the love of Jesus.

Our vision is to empower people to become voices in their community, voices that teach others, love others, and share Jesus with the people in their life.
