This song always reminds me of a trip we took to the Grand Canyon. We went on a guided tour of a cavern and at one point, when we got into a huge open area, the guide had all the lights shut off. It was dark, so dark that I couldn't see my hand in front of my face, there were probably 20 people in the group and no one could see. Then the guide lit a single match and the whole area was lit-up, and we could all see... until that match burnt out.

And this is what it's like to have the Light of Jesus, the spark that fills our heart with a loving warmth that only He can give. Shining the Light of Jesus on others is something that we as belivers are able, and called to do. Help others to enjoy that warmth, Pass it on!
